29.06.10 Goodbye Cuemix-Magazine!

Liebe Freunde,

vor knapp sechs Jahren erschien das erste Cuemix-Magazine als PDF Download. Was seinerzeit als meine eigene Spielwiese für Interviews mit DJs und Musikern aus dem Bereich elektronische Musik geplant war, entwickelte sich zu meiner großen Überraschung zu einer kleinen aber beliebten Institution in der Welt der Online Magazine. Das Netzwerk an Kontakten mit Labeln, Musikern und Promotern explodierte nahezu; und an manchen Tagen glich der Gang zum Briefkasten der kindlichen Freude Geschenke unter dem Weihnachtsbaum auspacken.
Überhaupt, alles was ich mit Cuemix-Magazine gemacht habe hat mein Herz immer mit viel Wärme und Freude erfüllt. Es gab nie Momente in denen ich Frustration oder gar Ablehnung erfahren habe.

Ohne die Unterstützung von Holger und Stephan als Grafiker und Webdesigner wäre Cuemix-Magazine aber auch nie so weit gekommen – Danke dafür!

Aus der Arbeit mit Cuemix-Magazine entstand ein weiteres Netzwerk, Cuemix-Eventkonzepte welches Veranstaltern und Musikern in Fragen von Umwelt-, Genehmigungs- und technischen Planungsfragen zur Seite steht.

Ein Mensch allein kann nur einmal eine Sache an einem Ort zur gleichen Zeit machen, darum habe ich mich entschlossen Cuemix-Magazine an der Stelle aufzugeben, an der es sich für mich immer noch gut anfühlt. Meine Arbeit mit Cuemix-Eventkonzepte wird weitergehen.

Ich danke euch allen von Herzen für die Unterstützung, Geduld und auch Freundschaft die ich erfahren habe!

Dear Friends,

nearly six years ago the first Cuemix Magazine appeared as a PDF download. What once was used as my own personal playground for interviews with DJs and electronic musicians, became to my great surprise a small but known institution in the world of online magazines. The network of contacts with labels, promoters and musicians almost exploded, and going to the mailbox was like the child's joy unpacking presents under the Christmas tree.
Anyway, all I did with Cuemix-Magazine has filled my heart always with much warmth and joy. There were never moments where I experienced frustration or outright rejection. Without the support of Holger and Stephan, as a graphic and web designers Cuemix magazine never would have come this far - thanks for that!

From working with Cuemix Magazine I developed another network, “Cuemix event concepts“ which organizers and musicians helps on issues of environmental, permitting and technical planning events.

One human being can only do one thing only once in one place at the same time, so I've decided to give up Cuemix magazine at the point where it still feels good for me. My work with Cuemix event concepts will continue.

I thank you all sincerely for your support, patience and friendship!
And hope that you will miss my funny English...
